The catch, said out loud
What if I miss the goal?
Then the payout doesn't trigger. That's the real risk and we are not hiding it. You keep the video, you keep the app, and if you land close, email us anyway.
How are views counted?
Public view count on the original post, 30 days after you publish. Reposts and cross-posts to other platforms don't stack.
Do I have to say nice things?
No. An honest take is worth more than a glowing one, and your audience can tell the difference anyway. If you try an app and it isn't for you, tell us and we'll part as friends.
Smaller questions
Is there a follower minimum?
No. The Haplo creator program has no follower minimum. It goes by your average views over your last ten posts, and if that number is under 5,000 you are still welcome to apply, because one person reads every application.
How many videos do I have to make?
One. One video, one view goal, one payout. If it goes well we can talk about doing another, but nothing in this offer assumes a second video.
How and when do I get paid?
By PayPal, once the 30-day window closes and the view goal is met. $30 for 5,000 views, $100 for 15,000. There is no fee to apply and nothing is deducted from the payout. US creators only for now.
Can I post about more than one app?
Yes, though one good video usually beats three rushed ones. Tick whatever genuinely fits what you make and we'll talk about where to start.
Why US creators only?
Paying internationally adds tax paperwork that isn't worth it at this size yet. If you're outside the US you can still apply — we just can't pay out today, and we'd rather say so than waste your time.
What happens after I send it?
One person reads it. If it's a fit you'll hear back from support@haploapp.com, usually within a couple of days. There's no automated screen and no minimum follower gate to get past.
